ZUM SCHWARZEN KAMEEL
The Jugendstil friezes that adorn the walls of the "Black Camel" are worth the trip alone. The establishment, which dates back to the year 1618, is designed as a wine bar. There is an excellent selection of bottles to taste on the premises or to take away. The atmosphere is a bit Latin, with a bar full of delicatessen, sandwiches, tramezzini or simple sandwiches, including a variant with the best ham in Vienna. Admittedly it's rather expensive, but the place is lively and widely appreciated by the local clientele. Also a restaurant.
