APARTMENT OF JOHANN STRAUSS
The interior of this house is accompanied by an exhibition on the life of composer Johann Strauss.
This is the house where Johann Strauss (1825-1899) lived for 7 years and where he composed The Blue Danube. This modest museum presents the composer's daily life, with its furniture, instruments and art collection... Moving, but for the man who made the whole Empire waltz, this space remains modest, as does its neighborhood, which lacks the glamour of the Opéra. That said, for 2025, the centenary of his birth, Vienna is preparing a fine tribute to the waltz master.
