STADTPARK
This park is an excellent spot to rest while visiting the city.
Vienna City Park was inaugurated in 1862. It forms the link between the city center and the3rd district, and is an excellent spot to relax when visiting the city. The promenade was designed by architects F. Ohmann and L. Hackhofer in 1906 in the Art Nouveau style, as are the small buildings scattered around the park. But what all visitors come to see above all is the little golden statue of Johann Strauss Jr. (dating from 1921), with the music of The Blue Danube in his head. Subway at the edge of the park.
