CARNUNTUM ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
Ancient, an ancient imperial residence under Marc Aurèle, located on the road from Vienna to Bratislava, is the largest Roman remnant in Austria. It is composed of an open-air museum where the ancient Roman constructions, including Diane's Temple, the Bad Deutschen-Altenburg amphitheatre, which could once accommodate 8 000 people, and the Ancient Museum traced the history of the empire through the many objects found on the site. The space, beautifully furnished for the visit, allows a real dive in Antiquity. Reconstructions, exhibition of weapons, armor, crafts. At the Information Centre: documents, souvenir shop.
