The square is surrounded by some of the city's finest palaces.

From Freyung Square, the covered passageway of the same name has something timeless about it with its six-sided dome, chiselled marble stairs and a central fountain that adds to the magic of the place. The stroller will appreciate the shop windows and the quality of the products on offer. The square is surrounded by some of the most beautiful palaces in the city: the Ferstel, Daun-Kinsky, Harrach and Schönborn-Batthyany palaces. The Harrach Palace (1680) houses a luxury luggage shop. There is a small organic market on the square.

Une galerie très élégante entre le palais Harrach et le palais Ferstel, une petite place au bout sous une verrière et la fontaine aux ondines. Vous êtes tout près du magnifique Café Central et du palais Kinsky dont le hall d'entrée et l'escalier valent un coup d’œil (c'est une salle de vente mais l'accès au hall est autorisé).
