Haus Haus, built by architect Hans Hollein, houses a luxury shopping mall.

Its construction was controversial. But luxury knows no bounds! Some cried scandal when this modern building was erected opposite Vienna's majestic, emblematic and historic St. Stephen's Cathedral. The Haas building was designed by architect Hans Hollein and inaugurated in 1990. It houses a luxury shopping mall. The different shades of marble, the way they're combined with metals, and the way they're lit are all well worth a visit. The building has become part of the landscape, and is beginning to age! Soon to be historic.

Pour les passionnés d'architecture, le bâtiment est un ravissement pour les yeux ! On peut, par ailleurs, boire ou dîner au dernier étage qui propose une terrasse offrant une vue imprenable sur la Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Vienne (Stephansdom).
