BEETHOVENHAUS
The house where Beethoven stayed in Baden and wrote his Symphony, now a modern museum with a musical backdrop.
Beethoven regularly stayed in Baden to take the waters. On these occasions he stayed in this pretty orange house during the summers of 1821, 1822 and 1823. It was here that he wrote, in part, his famous 9th symphony. In 2014, this house was transformed into a modern museum dedicated to the great composer. A well-documented and lively stopover for pilgrims on the trail of Beethoven. You will discover the living rooms in their period decoration. The 9th symphony will accompany your visit in the background.
