Museum featuring a collection of caricatures, with cartoons and a library, European caricature.
This museum opened in 2001 and was designed by architect and cartoonist Gustav Peichl. The Krems Cartoon Museum is constantly expanding its own collection of caricatures and cartoons and its specialist library. The focus is on 20th century European caricature and of course with special attention to Austria. Depending on the temporary exhibitions, comic strips, children's cartoons, the press, etc. are highlighted.
