This Gothic château was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1752.
An institution in the region. The original Gothic castle, surrounded by water, was destroyed by fire in 1724. It was rebuilt in baroque style in 1752. In 1900, it was extended with the addition of a church. At that time, the castle changed its vocation to become a monastery with, next to it, a private school of good reputation open to English girls. The huge buildings still mark the landscape but are not currently open to visitors.
