CITY MUSEUM (MUSEUM LAURIACUM)
A museum where you can discover the history of the town since Roman times through a series of fascinating objects and documents.
This museum is named after the Roman city that prefigured the city of Enns. It was completely renovated in 2018, you will discover in a modern museography the history of the city since Roman times through a series of objects and fascinating documents. For example, the decree signed by Leopold VI in 1212 giving Enns its status as a city is displayed. A very rare example of a 2nd century Roman fresco depicting Love and Psyche is also on display.
