Located about 15 minutes walk from the historic centre. Salzburg is one of the best served cities in Austria: 2 trains per hour to Munich, 1 to 2 trains per hour to Vienna, 1 hour to Innsbruck, 1 every 2 hours to Klagenfurt. It should be noted that the German Railways (DB) have two ticket offices inside the station, offering packages and special rates for those wishing to make an excursion to neighbouring Bavaria.

Gare moderne avec beaucoup de service
Gare bien reliée au réseau régional vers Vienne, Munich et plus loin. Moderne, on passe dans un très large passage souterrain avec des boutiques ouvertes assez tard pour aller d'une voie à l'autre. Facile de trouver à manger, à boire, ou un souvenir de dernière minute entre deux trains. Plusieurs auberges de jeunesse et hôtels à proximité (10mn). Le centre historique n'est pas trop loin non plus à pied.
