MUSÉE DU JOUET (SPIELZEUG MUSEUM)

A museum that will enchant and delight young and old alike. A large collection of toys and games. You'll discover historic pieces, and while these are protected as they are fragile, others are available to young visitors, who can try out a whole range of different toys on site. The museum is organized around three main themes: "play", "life" and "wonder". On the first floor, large areas are reserved for playing and letting off steam, with countless marble circuits, balance games and giant wooden building blocks. The "puppet museum" (Museumskasperl), with weekly shows in the facility's theater, is also very popular. Learner drivers can step on the gas with the Carrera racing circuit. On the second floor, there's plenty of room for nostalgia, with teddy bears and dolls, the dealer's store and a collection of dolls' kitchens. The museum is home to many other attractions and play areas, including a maze, miniature toys, children's films and a play area for babies! The slide that leads from the second to the second floor is a unique speed experience for children before sharing a quiet moment in the comfortable reading area. In addition to the permanent adventure and play areas, the Toy Museum regularly presents exciting themed exhibitions.
