MONK'S QUARTER

On the side of the fortress, in the south of the residential quarter, the quartier des Moines, where monks lived, at the foot of the mountain of the Monks. At the end of the Getreidegasse, the Bürgerspital was, literally, "the Bourgeois Hospital".
