This museum of Celtic civilization (2,500 years BC) presents numerous remains discovered in the Hallein region. It is one of the most important museums in Europe on Celtic history and art. The Kelten Museum also houses the Stille Nacht Museum Hallein, a museum dedicated to the composer of the famous Christmas song, Silent Night, Franz Xaver Gruber. Workshops for children, especially around archaeological excavations.
