THROAT (SIGMUND-THUN KLAMM)
This gorge is one of the most picturesque natural passages in the valley.
One of the natural passages of the very picturesque valley. 14,000 years ago, the site was occupied by a glacier. Over the centuries, the glacier melted and the water runoff carved out this 320 m long and 32 m deep gorge through the rock. You walk through this gorge on a wooden grating overhanging the river and its waterfalls to the cave. Bring waterproof clothing. At the entrance, visit the museum on local geology. Perfect for families.
