A beautiful building where Anton Gigl, the famous stucco artist, created a delicate stucco decor.
A beautiful building, with a cube-shaped mortuary chapel (1350) and a Gothic crucifix dating from 1500. This is the oldest church in the Stubai valley. Baroque and Gothic interiors. Restored in 1990, remains of an early Christian church were discovered here (early 8th century). Inside the church, Anton Gigl, the famous stucco artist, designed a delicate stucco decoration (early Rococo).
