A host of activities, culinary highlights and wellness in all its glory: vacation at the 4-star Hotel Alpenhof-Superior in Hintertux offers variety in every way.
The Hintertux glacier ski area is only a minute away from the Hotel Alpenhof - the Zillertal 3000 ski region, with 204 km of superb pistes for all levels, countless deep-snow slopes and numerous gondolas, can be reached in almost no time at all. Equally spectacular is the "discovery" offer in summer and spring, with a whole network of hiking and mountain-biking trails. In winter, what could be better than to be the first to leave your tracks in the fresh snow in the early hours of the morning, to go snowshoeing or tobogganing, all supervised by the hotel's sports instructors?
The elegant rooms and suites in rustic Tyrolean style are all decorated with top-quality materials: local larch and oak create a cosy, charming, country atmosphere. When it comes to wellness, the VITALIS SPA offers a range of saunas, an indoor pool and a wonderful Alpine garden with panoramic outdoor Jacuzzi. To release their energy, families have access to a 160 m2 sports hall and a 100 m2 fitness area, equipped with state-of-the-art weights.
Creative regional flavors awaken the five senses: that's what the award-winning cuisine at the Hotel Alpenhof promises. With its gourmet full-board service, guests can enjoy divine flavors from the morning breakfast buffet to the evening 5-course gourmet menu. Head chef Maximilian Stock's culinary compositions surprise with their blend of innovation and regionality. He calls his world of flavors "Alpine Taste", and attaches great importance to regional and seasonal products, sourced from local producers or the hotel's own farm in Obsteig.In the Alpenhof's Genießerstube à la carte restaurant, as exclusive as it is refined, the chef proposes divine compositions. The Gault & Millau guide rightly awarded him 15 points and three toques for his works of culinary art. Maximilian Stock is one of Austria's top chefs.
