Alpine lake where you can admire steamboats and try shale oil cures after a day in the mountains.

This is one of Innsbruck's most popular lakes. This large Alpine lake offers many beautiful views. The village of Pertisau, on the left bank, is popular for water sports. Here you can admire steamboats and try shale oil cures after a day in the mountains. The region's varied range of sporting activities, including two golf courses and majestic natural surroundings, attracts both mountain dwellers and those who prefer to relax by the water.

This beautiful lake is the largest of Austria, you can tour some by boat even in the train.
View which I recommend.
The lake is surrounded by many villages and ski resorts (normal we are in Austria).
In winter, into night family you can make sledding in the village of Pertisau, a good activity to spend a good evening.
This point by a beautiful mountain road you can go to Munich
A superb site, where it is possible to numerous walks in the mountains around the lake (with lake views of course!). To make... the cable cars to rise quickly and effortlessly 2000 metres high.
