RUINS OF THIERBERG CASTLE (THIERBERGRUINE)
Small chapel featuring an original Arab-style fresco of the Nativity.
It is the former family home of the Freundsbergers. It was built from 1280. Its small chapel with its pretty, pointed bell tower became a place of pilgrimage in 1580 and houses an original fresco of the Nativity in an Arabesque style. The ruins of this castle evoke (and make us discover) a tormented past. Its last restoration dates from 2001. From the top of the tower, which is now accessible, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
