SAINT MICHAEL CHURCH (SANKT-MICHAEL KIRCHE)
Church with remarkable paintings, sculptures and admirable frescoes at the entrance, including the Adoration of the Magi
This church, mentioned as early as 1315, is said to have been built on the site of a pagan temple which, according to legend, sank into the waters of a lake. The frescoes in the nave date from the early 15th century. The former sick bay houses the youth hostel. Like the adjacent St. Magdalene Church, it dates from the 14th century. In the church, there are remarkable paintings, sculptures and admirable frescoes at the entrance, notably an Adoration of the Magi.
