CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC (LANDESKONSERVATORIUM)
Superb building housing the regional conservatory, which welcomes some 400 students every year.
On the other side of the Ill, opposite the Rosenberger Hotel, the former Jesuit school, Stella Matutina, is a superb building situated on a site already occupied by this order since 1543. The Nazis closed the building in 1938 to install a school of finance, then a military hospital. The building was returned to religious life in 1946, then transformed again in 1977, and now houses the new regional Conservatory, which receives about 400 students each year.
