Historic house housing the Gustav Mahler Museum, where the composer and conductor composed some of his symphonies.
This historic mansion, set in the shade of foliage, houses the museum of composer and conductor Gustav Mahler. Photographs, his handwritten letters, numerous documents and objects are on display to the public. This little wooden house was built by Gustav Mahler, then conductor of the Vienna Court Opera, between 1900 and 1907, during his summer vacations, well hidden in the forest. Some of his symphonies were composed here.
