This church is a fine example of Styrian flamboyant Gothic.
This church is a fine example of the Styrian Flamboyant Gothic style and houses an Ascension of Mary by Tintoretto. It was commissioned in 1440 by Frederick III as the Corpus Christi chapel in the middle of what was then the Jewish quarter of Graz. It was later handed over to the Dominicans, who added the Gothic elements that can still be seen today. One of the choir windows shows two historical figures in the Passion of Christ: Hitler and Mussolini.
