These aerial, panoramic railroads are one of Austria's great treasures.
In the railways section, you can take a steam train driven by the oldest locomotive in the world still in operation. This historic locomotive dates from 1884. The vintage train leaves from Mariazell and takes you to Erlaufsee. You can also board the famous train from Mariazell to Sankt Pölten in Lower Austria and back for a beautiful ride through stunning mountain scenery.
