This imposing medieval castle is one of Styria's best-known landmarks.
It is a landmark in the Neuberg landscape. Perched on its hill, at an altitude of 500 m, this imposing castle of medieval appearance is one of the best known in Styria. Built in the 12th century, it was under the direct control of the Habsburgs from the 15th century. You can visit the court, which combines Renaissance and medieval styles, as well as the chapel. However, as the building is privately owned, it is not possible to visit the interior of Neuberg Castle.
