Although the coal mines are no longer in operation, glassmaking is still alive and well in this small town. It's one of the specialities of this rural area and one of its main tourist attractions. In the Stölzle Glas-Center, with its modern glass architecture, visitors can admire curiosities and explanations on the subject of glass and glassmaking.
