On the heights of Eisenstadt. This is the church of the Franciscan monastery. Built from 1625 to 1630 from old Gothic elements, the church has a beautiful high altar and a Baroque pulpit (1750). In the adjoining convent, a gallery houses the Esterházy family vault (1857). What remains of the convent today is now occupied by the Diözesanmuseum (Diocese Museum), which can be visited. A peaceful and rural stopover.
