This is the house where Haydn lived between 1766 and 1778. It's been converted into a museum. You will find various documents evoking the life of the composer. You will discover the bourgeois and baroque life led by Haydn in Eisenstadt. The musician, who joined the Esterházy family in 1761, stayed there for 40 years. We learn, among other things, that Joseph Haydn was not happy with his wife Maria Anna Theresia. Exciting guided tours. Temporary exhibitions.
