Compagnie des Alpes amusement park, Austria's largest, with Filippo the cat as mascot, popular in high season.
It is one of the amusement parks of the Compagnie des Alpes, a French group that runs 10 ski areas and 13 amusement parks. It is the largest amusement park in the country, covering nearly 145,000m2. Originally a family business, the park was created in 1968 under the name of Märchenwald. The park was bought from the Müller family by the Compagnie des Alpes in 2019. Its mascot is the cat Filippo who welcomes all visitors and guides them from attraction to attraction. It is very busy in season, by small and big children.
