OFFICE DE TOURISME
Deutschkreutz is a town surrounded by extensive vineyards. The exceptional quality of the vineyards offers visitors delicious tasting pleasures. You can taste award-winning wines at local wineries and at the regional cellar, which offers over 250 samples. Locally-produced mineral water from the Rudolfsquelle spring (Juvina) goes perfectly with any wine tasting. The adjoining Vinatrium houses an auditorium where various events take place throughout the year. Other cultural highlights include Deutschkreutz Castle, Anton Lehmden Church and the Goldmark Museum. The academic painter lives in the castle, built in 1625, and offers visitors a guided exhibition of his paintings. The artist also designed the north facade and interior of the Deutschkreutz parish church. Concerts are also held here several times a year. In addition to wine and culture, Deutschkreutz offers a wide range of sporting activities. Running and Nordic walking trails, horseback riding, tennis, quad biking, Segway tours and a visit to the swimming pool invite you to get active during the day. In the many Heurigen (wine taverns) and traditional restaurants, you can round off the day with regional specialities and a glass of good wine.
