This family-friendly guesthouse is located in the village of Santa Maria, a 5-minute walk from the center. The 12 rooms, equipped with private bathrooms and fans, have a naïve African spirit and colorful ceramic mamas. Paola and Laurent will be happy to welcome you and provide you, on arrival, with all their tips and addresses. They are also the promoters of the bilingual French-Cape Verdean school in Santa Maria.

The Croatian couple young you be very welcoming. Ok, English is a little approximate, but good. it goes, and then that on holiday belonged to the charm of the travel! otherwise, you must go to Hilton; -)
When the sound, yes it is quite noisy, but I think that it is inherent in Santa Maria... I do not see why the others poussadas centre Santa Maria would be quieter. Either you must be outside " the ville" , it is necessary to accept traffic on the paving stones, the 2 wheels people who speak street, etc.
Frankly us a very good stay was passed. $30 Per night 2 2 p'tit dej. It is decent I think!
