The first bottling of this family estate dates back to 1947 by Henri Kieffer, Joël's grandfather (at the head of the estate since 2002). Since then, Joël and his wife Claudine have the help of their daughter Charline, who joined the estate in 2022. They manage together this 16 ha estate. The Kieffer family produces traditional wines, Grand Cru Winzenberg wines but also atypical wines such as Pinot blanc barrique. A favorite is the K70, a tribute to Joel's father, a blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Auxerrois.
