DOMAINE HUBERT MEYER
Hubert Meyer and his son Pierre (a graduate in oenology) now vinify the wines of this estate of about 10 ha. The range of their good vintages is divided, as is often the case in the region, into Vins de Tradition (dedicated to the 7 Alsatian grape varieties) and Vins de Prestige. These are made from plots selected at the harvest and are not made when the vintage allows it. The Prestige range includes Pinot Noir aged in barrels, Gewurztraminer and Riesling Grand Cru Winzerberg, as well as the Sylvaner L'Âme de Pierre. Pierre Meyer also makes delicious Crémants d'Alsace (Blanc Brut or Rosé). The Hubert family invites you to take the time to discover its good vintages in its superb stone-lined cellar. As far as oenological activities are concerned, they offer you a visit of their estate followed by a commented tasting, as well as a buffet dinner in partnership with a local caterer. Finally, a gîte (2-4 people) is available throughout the year. It is fitted out in a very chic contemporary spirit and has its own independent entrance.
