With its pink and mauve frontage, this hotel behind the large church offers some twenty modern, comfortable and well-equipped rooms (bathroom, AC, TV and hot water), apart from the sometimes capricious wifi. Netinha bends over backwards to concoct a good dinner with generous portions, to be ordered in the morning at breakfast time. Breakfast consists of simple products (eggs, cheese, fruit) and a tasty homemade cachupa. A travel agency is also available on the first floor.

Sítio fantástico para ficar e com localização ótima para conhecer a Ribeira Brava e a ilha de s Nicolau porque os sítios onde há estrada são acessíveis por hiace que partem da praça na vila.

O staff do hotel é espetacular, atento e cuidadoso. A dona netinha é querida e cuidadosa. A comida ao jantar e pequeno almoço é fabulosa, nós somos vegetarianas e não houve nenhum problema. Ajudaram também com o transporte para o porto dos barcos de madrugada.

No geral, recomendo muito para ficar na ilha.

I really recommend this hotel and restaurant in Ribeira Brava. Had an AMAZING experience here. Fernando and Netinha are great. Netinha's food is the best and everything is homemade. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would have loved to stay longer, because it was so good!

100% recomendado. Minha estadia na pensão Bela Sombra foi ótima. O Fernando e a Netinha são super simpáticos e fazem tudo pra que a sua experiência seja fantástica. A comida da Netinha é uma DELICIA. É tudo caseiro e local. Todos os dias comi no restaurante dela. Vou sentir saudade da Netinha!
