Company that manages the Mar d'Canal ferry to connect Santo Antão. Tickets can be purchased directly from their offices at the Maritime Station.
Santo Antão → São Vicente. 1 hour drive. Departure every day at 10 a. m. and 17 p. m. except on Sundays where only the 17-hour connection is tiring.
São Vicente → Santo Antão. Departure every day at 8 a. m. and 15 p. m. except on Sundays where only 8-hour liaison is ensured. Rates: 830 CVE, child 430 CVE per route, free for those under 6.
Take about one hour's pass. Possibility to put cars in the ferry.
The ticket office is just opposite the brand new port of Porto Novo, inaugurated in 2012. Ticket prices for a passenger car: 3 020 CVE, large car gauge 4 500 CVE, motorcycles 386 CVE and bicycles 206 CVE. Tickets buy up to 30 minutes before departure at the shipping station: open from 8 am to 12 pm and from 15 pm to 18 pm every day. We advise you to arrive at least half an hour ahead of time, as the boat usually stops returning the footbridge 10 minutes before departure.
