On the coastal avenue, Casa Café Mindelo is an old Portuguese building nicely restored with a large lounge with red wooden floor. It is known for its excellent cachupa, but especially for its cultural events and live music played almost every night. The place has become a must-see tourist spot in Mindelo, but locals still frequent it and the food and atmosphere live up to its reputation. A selection of tapas, including chouriço and caldo, can satisfy a small hunger at any time.

Restaurant un peu cher par rapport au cout de la vie au cap vert. Mais la cuisine est de qualité et le service est très agréable. L’hôtel est pour sa part très bien. Le responsable est à l’écoute et cherche à aider autant qu'il peut. Le prix de la chambre inclus le petit déjeuner, celui ci est très bon et très copieux !

Ne passer pas à côté des brochettes.
Boire un pot en fin de journée est aussi une option. C'est un des seules endroits, qui ont de la bière pression acceptable.
