Henri, the owner has lived for a long time in France and welcomes you according to European standards. The residence has 23 rooms, 10 of which have a terrace and a view of the Bay of Mindelo. The others overlook an interior patio. The rooms are neat and clean, all have a bathroom with hot water and TV. Prices vary depending on the view and option (air conditioning or fan). At the very top, a terrace from which you can enjoy the panoramic view while having breakfast. The French-speaking staff is at your disposal and will answer your requests: airport transfer, excursions... The Jenny Residence is located a stone's throw from the city centre and very close to the landing stage, convenient if you need to take the ferry to Santo Antão.

The welcome is nobody-dependent and therefore variable. The location is perfect, near the jetty (5 Million walk by the staircase) to go to santo Antão or visit Mindelo center.
Decent rooms, no more; to get to most because there is an awful building in front of which obstructs the view!
Breakfast in the inner courtyard with fresh ingredients and yogurt.
Air conditioning surcharge and that is taken up touch!

Perhaps staff exchanged but the welcome is not very friendly manager it is on the edge of the courtesy with local employees. No reproaches on cleanliness and the location is always ideal. The Councils unsuited compared to the tours over the island and our second night was infernal. A group left for the ferry in the morning, and the inner courtyard or the breakfast very pleasant but is wired for sound at all. We have more all benefited from their alarm clock than morning!!! Pension to be avoided.

Third trip to cape verde including 2 tours in Mindelo. Just a large mercy has Denis and Mimi like all the team. Reception, information, cleanliness, and especially small aperitif on the terrace at nightfall facing the bay of Mindelo, pure happiness.
