Cultural center in an old building in Mindelo with a bookstore, auditorium, exhibition hall with openings, theaters
A former building built for the customs services while waiting for the completion of the Cais da Alfândega, it is one of the oldest buildings on the island, dating from 1858. Since then, it has changed function several times and nowadays it houses a bookshop, a beautiful patio with a bar, an auditorium, an exhibition hall where vernissages and theatrical performances are organised, as well as film projections shown on a large screen.
