I was a guest of David and his great, hospitable team for 16 days and had a room on the 3rd floor next to the roof terrace with a fantastic view. Everything was very clean and an exceptionally good all you can eat breakfast in a family atmosphere around a table, where it was easy to make contact with other guests for joint activities. David has lived in the USA and speaks very good English (he even gives English lessons in the village). Always available and friendly to give information. The central location in the town is great on the one hand, but on the other hand there is a lot of hustle and bustle until late at night, especially at weekends, but that is the case almost everywhere in this small town.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix, petit déjeuné inclus et copieux, wifi à tous les étages. Propre et jolie... Les photos ne mentent pas. David le propriétaire est attentionné et accueillant. Le staff au petit soin. Au top du standart Cap Verdien.

Die Zimmer sind schön und es war alles sauber nur wurde das Zimmer in den 3 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht einmal geputzt zumindest den Boden hätte man reinigen können.
Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich, spricht sehr gut Englisch und hat uns bei den Wanderung geholfen. Das Personal ist gut ein wenig schüchtern so dass wir am morgen nach Eiern fragen mussten. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut!
Der Standort ist Zentral im Dorf und gut erreichbar. Am morgen früh um 6 hört man schon die ersten Taxis und leider ist auch momentan eine Baustelle nebenan.
Nebenan hat es ein tolles Restaurant was wir sehr empfehlen können!

Phenomenal hospitality by David! Answered all my questions about santo antao and his English is really good as well. Delightful breakfast and the girls are so friendly. WiFi is pretty fast for Cape Verde standards, was able to do some WhatsApp audio calls. Really comfortable stay, bathrooms are clean, everything is spotless. You really can’t ask for a better stay. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in ponta do sol.

Search no further, this is THE place to stay! Owner David will make your stay very enjoyable and make you feel at home. He speaks English very well. If you have any questions, he'll help you with it. Calls drivers (aluguers) for you if you want, even called someone for us about dolphin/whale spotting. Has a lot of tips about the neighbourhood and tells about Santo Antao during breakfast. The rooms were good, beds were fine and everything was very clean. If something happened to be wrong he fixed it immediately. Sadly enough we had to leave. We hope to come back sometime!

Schöne Zimmer, gute Matratzen, umfangreiches und köstliches Frühstück. Das Personal und der Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Entre les montagnes et l'océan, la vue est magnifique. Très bel endroit pour ceux qui sont à Ponta Do Sol pour la randonnée de Cruzinha. Le personnel est très accueillant. Je recommande vivement

I love the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast (generous), the wi-fi, and the location. It is a wonderful place to have some peaceful time to yourself while enjoying the nice breeze from the sea and from the mountains.

He pasado una noche en este Hotel y la estancia ha sido fantástica.
El personal es muy servicial y atento. Habitaciones espaciosas y muy luminosas, casi todas con balcón.
Y un desayuno increíblemente rico y abundante.
Recomiendo vivamente!

My agent booked me this place, the internet didn't work so I had to try calling the staff, which seemed hard as they only replied back on WhatsApp (as I saw later once I was back online).. But as i was calling/messaging that there was no internet, of course WhatsApp didn't work for me at that time. Staff tried to help, but they couldn't fix the issue and their English is basic. But they did try to help... :) Just unfortunately unsuccesful.
I would have booked a better location by the sea personally but it wasn't that bad afterall.

I highly recommend this place :) The rooms are clean, very comfortable, and the girls are really nice. They goes over and beyond to help make your stay enjoyable.

Great place to stay! Super clean and spacious rooms, great view, all facilities, fast wifi, hot water ( in Cabo Verde it was not common), great breakfast and suuper friendly hosts! Totally recommended! Thanks a lot and until the next time!

Casa sympathique. Tout est très propre et le s filles sont serviables. Le petit dej est quali. Emplacement de choix pour visiter la ville + depart randonnées.
Il y a un resto tres bon juste en face !

Nous avons passé 2 jours à Casa Djassi. Le staff est tout simplement adorable. L’hôtel est par ailleurs tres confortable et propre! A noter également le super petit déjeuner pour prendre des forces avant vos randonnées. ;) Je recommande !
