Sety will take you to discover the west coast, Angra cove and Agua Belas cave. Sail away and enjoy the lapping of the water. This guide knows the region well, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Give him a call a day or two before you arrive, and he'll organize outings and even a barbecue on a deserted beach. You can also go the day before and sleep at his cousin's, who has set up a few rooms in her green house.

Certes, Riviera de Barca est un village pauvre et ressemble par endroit à une décharge !!! Mais c'est un village assez typique, vous y rencontrerez des pêcheurs, qui prennent des collectivos pour aller vendre leur poissons en ville (peut-être même aurez vous la chance de voyager avec...)
Sety est sympa, il adore la France, il a pu financer l'achat de sa barque grâce à un financement coopératif. Si vous prenez le temps de discuter et boire un verre avec lui, vous découvrirez un jeune homme attachant.

Riviera de la barca certainly changed since 2013, but in 2016 it became a waiver!!! for the side " village of pêcheurs" it is disastrous! No interest, no beach, no village life really and bins, bins!!
Sety did not convince us and by far… late, not very communicative and forgot the flippers, masks and snorkel (embarrassing for a stroll in the boat). We stayed that 30 minutes on the cove and express check-out (we did not include too). In short, 2 hour stroll at € 30 per person for expensive!!!
For accommodation, Janine his cousin is nice and clean house… but no water!!!

back from Cape Verde, the meeting with Sety it very poorly past because I do not have to accept the services of a guide. It literally pourri me my passage to Ribeira, so much so that I served the first alluguor for Tarrafal. Moreover it is not sinning and French is very limited, such as knowledge of the area. Its pal Dominica is both acabi.

Séty est un jeune pêcheur qui a à coeur de vous faire découvrir les beautés de cette partie de la côte de Santiago. En barque si la mer le permet, ou à pied, vous rejoindrez la grotte d'Aguas Belas. Séty pourra aussi vous proposer d'autres buts de promenades, et surtout vous goûterez avec lui la douceur de vivre capverdienne. Certainement un des points les plus intéressants de Santiago !

Le village est peu touristique et en a les avantages et les inconvénients...
Le fait d'avoir pris contact avec Sety auparavant nous a permis d'éviter la foule de rabatteur. La balade en barque était bien organisée et sécurisée, ce qui est appréciable avec des enfants.
Et c'est le seul logement chez l'habitant que nous avons pu réserver depuis la France!
Bonne expérience en famille.
