AGUADINHA
Aguadinha is located to the north-west of the historic center, and its garden is much frequented by the local population. It houses a bust in honor of Governor João de Figueiredo, promoter of the water supply project. The reservoir, built entirely of stone in 1915, was used to distribute and supply water to the historic center, the upper part of the city and the outlying districts of São Filipe. In addition to its function, the site also serves as a lookout point, offering a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Brava.
