Alcindo, president of the association of guides of Chã das Caldeiras, welcomes you in the lodging which he rebuilt in the respect of the nature (the electricity is supplied to 100 % by solar panels) and of the local traditions (the contemporary architecture of the building integrates a funco, traditional cylindrical building of the caldera). Meals are prepared exclusively with local products and everything is home-made. The house also takes care of your transfers if needed and finds you the right guide for the ascent of Grande Pico.

Si vous êtes à la recherche de familiale et d’authenticité c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. Des gérants d’une gentillesse folle et un staff incroyable. La cuisine est locale, faite maison jusqu’aux petits pains. Les chambres sont simples mais la propreté y est impeccable. Le jardin dans le patio tout simplement magnifique et de plus leurs conseils de rando et de visite de Cha n’a pas de prix.

Bel endroit où séjourner, chambres propres et grandes. Laetitia et Alcindo sont des hôtes formidables, et en plus de cela, Alcindo était un excellent guide touristique, nous emmenant au sommet du Pico de Fogo.
