EMBARCADERE ILE D'INHACA

If the ferry to Catembe no longer exists since the inauguration of the bridge linking the city to Maputo in 2019, this pier at the end of the lower town is still used to go to the beautiful island of Inhaca. This is a smart plan to avoid paying an expensive excursion while visiting the island (but without the Santa Maria and Ila Portuguesa snorkeling stop), for a crossing of 3 hours instead of 45 minutes. The opportunity to enjoy its beautiful beaches. Arrive 30 to 45 minutes before to be sure to have a place on the small boat that leads to the ferry, especially on weekends.
