KWETU
This 100% local and militant address is a canteen for bobos, expatriates and the trendy fauna of Maputo. It has a very nice terrace, arranged with pallets and crates. Kwetu is at the same time vast but also intimate and pleasant. The good smells, fresh and seasonal, emanate from the stoves at the back, where feijoada, matapa and coconut chicken are simmering. We eat local, copious and without ruining ourselves. In the original room, a corner is reserved for Mozambican handicrafts and other new solidarity brands, as well as parts of the walls for artists' works.
