Between the beaches of Xai-Xai and Chongoene, the Montego Resort is the first hotel after the Xai-Xai Beach Resort. In this establishment with its feet in the water, J.-C., the owner, gave us an excellent welcome. Everything is thought to offer a maximum of comfort, with a minimum of ecological impact. With its coral reef which emerges at low tide and protects the beach from the waves, it is certainly one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in the region. Alho, the name of the beach, describes the rounded shape of the pebbles heckled by the sea.

Such a pity it's closed.. on site supervisor allowed us to camp overnight though. Hot water in shower ???? Electric points at campsite dodgy.
