In the same style as its neighbour Aguia Pesqueira, this camp located near Lake Massingir (the latter offering a very nice view) offers small wooden chalets on stilts, built of logs and in the middle of nature with a common kitchen, shower and toilets. Some have up to four beds, for families or groups of friends. Camping Albufeira has the advantage of being closest to the Massingir Gate, which can be a good compromise for the first or last nights in the park. Adventure is yours!

The facilities at the campsite at Albufeira are unclean and there is no water or electricity at the actual camp. There were no other campets nor people in thr chalets either.
The card machine at reception wasn't working and they would not accept USD. We said we would come back the next morning to pay and it still wasn't working, so we had to drive back to Massingir to draw cash. We were treated like absolute criminals before we left for Massingir - staff are extremely rude.
There was some very old Elephant dung near the campsite, but otherwise no animals and hardly any birds in sight.
Would not recommend this as a stopover en route to the Giriyondo Border Post
