PALM GROVE LODGE

During my recent visit to Mozambique, I had the privilege of staying at the exquisite Palm Grove Lodge, situated in Inhambane province. The moment I stepped onto the white shores, I knew I was in for an extraordinary time.

Among the highlights of Palm Grove Lodge was its fantastic beachfront location. Just imagine waking up to the soothing sound of the waves and stepping directly onto the sandy shores. This proximity to the beach truly made my stay remarkable. Additionally, I took full advantage of its close proximity to various activities, such as a boat trip to Survivor Island.

Lucas and his wife, Esti, who manage the lodge, were the epitome of friendly and welcoming hosts. Their warm hospitality instantly made me feel at home and added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. Not only did they provide exceptional service, but they also spent quality time with us. One evening, we had the joy of joining them for a delightful barbecue, creating lasting memories together.

Apart from their exceptional hospitality, Lucas organized a full-day trip for the families staying at the lodge, including mine, to explore the captivating sand dunes and visit breathtaking beaches. This adventure allowed us to uncover hidden treasures and secluded spots that highlight the natural beauty of the area. It truly enriched our stay at Palm Grove Lodge and made it more memorable.

To ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience, Palm Grove Lodge offers a variety of amenities and services. The lodge boasts a charming beachfront restaurant where guests can relish delicious, affordable meals while marveling at the stunning coastal views. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The serene white sand beaches surrounding the lodge serve as a perfect backdrop for relaxation, sunbathing, and water activities. Amidst all the exciting activities the place offers, I could also simply relax by the pool and read a book.

Whether you crave tranquility, adventure, or a mix of both, Palm Grove Lodge in Inhambane proved to be my perfect destination, surpassing all expectations. Its picturesque location, welcoming hosts, and unforgettable experiences have left me yearning to return. I am eager and cannot wait to go back!

We had a great stay at Palm Grove from end Dec to beginning Jan . Nothing was to big an ask . Our house boy Rafael was amazing and Daniel made sure that everything was on point . Lukas the owner checked on us often and made sure we were all sorted . He let us know what to do , where to go and made sure we were looked after . The kids had the best time , we were right on the beach and with the pool there it was a pleasure of a stay . We updated definitely recommend!

We had a lovely 10 day stay. Perfectly situated on beach front with allot of activities to do close by. Nice pool area where you can have a drink or food from the restaurant with a perfect ocean view. Food at the restaurant was excellent. The rooms are verry nice. Thank you Lukas and Esti your service and staff was verry professional and welcoming.

We stayed from the 27th Dec 2023 until the 8th Jan 2024 at Palmgove family of 4.
We arrived late night and was greeted and assisted with offloading by friendly staff. The owners were there to welcome us. Lukas went out of his way to ensure we were looked after during our stay.
He regularly came around to check in. The pool and bar is on the beach and very safe....even for the kids.

Hawkers are managed and doesn't hassle you. Security guards patrol the property 24/7, so there were no theft, even being right on the beach.

I will most definitely recommend this lodge.

PS: Ample parking even for the toys.....

Palm Grove Lodge is the exact experience me and my family needed to relax and switch off from.our city life. The newly built unit was a pleasant surprise at no extra cost, right on the beach. Lukas, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate us even spoiling us to a free 4x4 excursion. The Seafood pizza at the restaurant was a winner, prices are well worth it. Even the vendors are selected and not anybody is allowed in the resort, only hand picked vendors supplying fresh fish, poa and vegetables daily. Este the co-owner went all out explaining where to get Sim cards, boarder routines and so much more, her Oxtail potties she made for us on our stoep was a special spoil! John-John at tue bar will keep your tab inline. Will see you soon and already booked our next December holiday! Best Service, Best location, best People!
