Fully equipped, this cousin of Maputo's Tivoli has long been the city's best hotel, but is now being dethroned by the newer Beira Terrace Hotel. Still, it has vintage charm, especially its lounge that looks like it came out of the 1970s, with characterful designer furniture. The rooms are really charming, with original flooring and personalized headboards with fabrics, and all the comforts one would expect after many drives between the south and the north of the country (air conditioning, etc.).
