M'Phingwe is the name of a local plant species called African blackwood. Here, the cottages cohabit with the TCT Dalmann company, which works the wood and manages the 25,000 ha Catapu concession. More than 200 plant species and more than 75 bird species have been identified. The area is also popular with a large number of South African birdwatchers, monkeys and various types of antelopes. The self catering cottages are rustic and very pleasant. We appreciate the restaurant in its beautiful setting with good plates.
