It takes 6 hours to reach the summit from Chikukwa camp. You must be accompanied by a guide who knows every nook and cranny. There are often guides in the camps or booking their services from Chimoio, at the Regional Directorate of Agriculture. Finally, last recommendation: the temperature can be negative between June and August. Bring warm, waterproof clothing: rain is not a warning, especially in the early morning and late afternoon.
